Because there is power in numbers, Local 227 has made organizing non-union workers a top priority. By assisting non-union workers to organize in their given industries, Local 227 is helping them take that important first step in enjoying the higher wages, improved benefits, and the dignity and respect all workers deserve, while protecting the current contracts of Local 227 members and strengthening the bargaining power for all workers.
