TRACY SMITH (L-350) CANINE COACH

Tracy Smith stays busy as the Floral Manager at Kroger L-350.  However, despite her busy schedule she still finds time to volunteer as a Canine Coach at the Kentucky Humane Society.  One day a week, regardless of the weather, Tracy walks dogs for four (4) hours helping to exercise and socialize dogs in the shelter.  "What I like most about volunteering is just seeing how happy the animals are to see us, and how much they enjoy a simple things such as petting them or rubbing their ears", says Tracy.  "I think it's important to volunteer because animals can't speak for themselves.  They need someone to help take care of them.  It makes you realize there's more in the world then just you and your problems.  A 'puppy kiss' can always make you smile."
