| February 11, 2010 Minutes of Meeting |
Lunch served at 12:00 pm (noon). Prayer led by Don Rough. In spite of the weather, there
were 18 faithful members present.
After a nice chicken dinner and a bit of chit chat, the meeting came to order at 12:30 pm. Pledge to the flag was led by Don Rough.
Minutes of the January meeting were approved as written.
Treasury Report was made by Petey Tapp - $980.34 in checking and $127.75 in savings.
In absence of Mary Rucker, sick report and cards sent to the sick members and families of deceased was read by Norma Higgins.
New Business - Don Rough suggested that a $200.00 donation be given to the Haitian earthquake relief fund. Motion was made and seconded by Beth Munzer. Talked about the upcoming Bowling Night Out at Rose Bowl Lanes to benefit the UFCW Danny Dettlinger Scholarship Fund.
No Old Business
We were pleased to have recent retiree, Janet Griffin with us today. Hopefully she will make it a habit to join us each month, see old friends, and meet new ones.
50/50 jackpot $16.00 was won by John Munzer, John donated $5.00 back to treasury.
Meeting adjourned at l2:55 pm.
