Lunch 12:00 pm (noon) Prayer led by Don Rough
Meeting came to order at 12:45 pm.
Jim Higgins presiding in absence of Jim Hatfield, President.
Pledge led by Mike Flynn.
Minutes were read and approved as written.
Mary Rucker gave report on cards sent to the sick members and families of deceased. A thank you note was sent to Helen (Labor Relations - U of L) for inviting us to the luncheons. Katherine Hatfield suffered a mini stroke on January 7th. She is doing ok.
New Business - web site set up for retirees. Don Rough will get the internet address for us.
Speaker - Tony Ratterman of Ratterman's Funeral Home
Mr. Ratterman spoke to us about pre-paid funerals. He represents funeral directors in the city. Was president of the association in 1986. Now works his own Funeral Home. Association of Independent Funeral Directors. His locations are: West Market Street and Can Run Road.
The 50/50 drawing was won by Bill Tapp, $15.00 for Bill and $15.00 goes into the treasury.
The meeting adjourned at 1:30 pm.
