Local 371, Union, A&P in contract battle
Citing a large gap in negotiations over wages, health insurance and pension issues, Local 371 of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union has warned that its 1,500 members who work in full- and part-time jobs at Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. stores in Connecticut could be involved in job actions as early as April 10.
