Check to see if you are currently eligible for Medicaid

While most of our membership has not been affected by unemployment during the Covid-19 Pandemic someone in your family might have and we have the information you will need to see if they qualify.

The KY state limit for income to receive Medicaid benefits is usually $217 per week (income should be counted before taxes are taken out), which would include any unemployment benefits. At the Departments of Community Based Services you can request additional information and apply to your specific local county.

The Departments of Community Based Services can also be accessed through their website where you can apply online for state-based benefits. 

For individuals specifically affected by Covid-19 they should apply through with the Medicaid Presumptive Eligibility Application. Your claim may be initially declined but you will be issued a claim number and a claim worker to verify all information before a final decision has been made.
