Are You Eligible for Insurance from the Heartland Health Fund? Here's How To Enroll

Congratulations! You’ve recently become eligible for insurance benefits through the Heartland Health and Welfare Fund.

Our union is proud of the quality, affordable health insurance coverage we negotiate for you and your co-workers. Our health insurance benefits weren’t just handed to us - UFCW 227 members like you stood together to fight and win these benefits. And together we will protect and improve these benefits for future generations of UFCW 227 members.

Since you are qualifying for benefits in the middle of the plan year, you will receive a packet in the mail. Packets are usually mailed out around the 20th of the month you become eligible (for example: if you become eligible for benefits in July, your packet will be mailed to you around July 20th).

You have 30 days to enroll for coverage with the Heartland Health Fund office (your packet will have an exact due date).
